7. Edmond BLADES2,11,13,14,15,16,17,18,19 was born in 1732 in prob Dorchester
or Queen Annes County, Maryland. He died about 1758.
The spelling of this name is seen records rendered as "Edmond", "Edmund"
and "Edward". The "Edmond" spelling has been chosen from
the military service notations.
Enlisted for service in the French & Indian War under Captain Benjamin Noxon.
Presumably died circa 1758 during his service. A land record states "whereas
the said Edmond Blades sometime past went of to the war in the backwoods and
has never since been heard of". (Caroline County Land Records, Delaware
Archives) Edmond BLADES and Nancy UNKNOWN were married about 1757.
